About Me

I am a second year PhD student in math at University of Washington in Seattle. Prior to that, I was a math master’s student at San Francisco State and math coach / department lead at Leadership High School.

My recent research with Dusty Ross and Patrick O’Melveny focuses on using mixed volumes to prove log-concavity of characteristic polynomials of matroids, and with Kim Seashore we are researching and improving undergraduates’ experiences in the precalculus curriculum at SF State. These efforts were supported with funding through the ARCS Scholarship Program.
